Welcome New Crew Member - Lisa Damiani

It is with great pride and pleasure I announce that The View From Here Magazine has a new member of the crew, Lisa Damiani. You may recognize her as the model in many photo shoots over the past few months. She has been a killer, a vampire, and a would-be kidnapping victim. There are many other projects already lined up for her at The Front View for Fiction.

Lisa is an educated woman who has been innovative her entire life. Her list her achievements are many. She is a singer, an entrepreneur, a model, a career professional in the insurance industry, and co-host of a heavy metal radio program with her husband, Gary. However, it is her devotion to the projects she commits herself to which makes her contributions here so valuable and appreciated.

In my position as editor, with ever-looming deadlines and with a constant need for creative assistance, a single text message to Lisa always results in a “yes.” Yes, she will be there to pose. Yes, she will dress like a Goth vampire, and yes, she will stand in the hot sun in a sweatshirt and get shoved into a car; all for the sake of art, and out of loyalty.

In keeping with The View From Here’s literary and multi-media goals, it is only natural to invite a model to join us in creating artful images and video. Each story we accept gets an original photograph based on the author’s work, and also the collaborative interpretation of the piece through my art direction and by our photographer for the Front View, Christopher Barrio. Lisa’s ideas are becoming increasingly more valuable as she has added her voice to our artistic conversations.

Today, Lisa is officially a member of the crew, and we will all enjoy her work here. Not only is she a member of this dynamic lineup, she is a terrific friend. Welcome Lisa, to The View From Here!

Oops, sorry, Lisa. For some reason I inverted your name. Saw Damiani and was thinking that's an interesting first name and then got it locked in my brain as such. It wasn't my intention to address you by your surname. I must have a chat with my brain surgeon and see if he can fix me!
