COMPETITION: Win a signed copy of Men in Space

COMPETITION TIME

ALMA BOOKS are giving away a signed hardback copy of Men in Space by Tom McCarthy to go with his interview on The View From Here.

For a chance to win, tell me what you would graffiti on the wall in the picture opposite.

Spray paint your answer in the comments.

Tom McCarthy himself will pick the winner - so make them cutting, eye catching and even slightly obscene - it is graffiti after all!

Competition closes Thursday 13th March.

Good Luck!

Mike

Ooh. A blank canvas.

"Available on all good desert islands."

;)

No. Too easy...

"The Final Frontier"? Or does that count as plagiarism?

"Kilroy was here." With image, of course. (Hmm. img tag not allowed I see.)

Swubird: I knew you'd go for something like that!

Matthew: To the point and morbid - thanks for entering!

;p

Let it be "The Final Frontier" then.

Well, I've not read the book, but one review said McCarthy had "sly wit." So, based on the title, my graffiti for "Men in Space" would be:
"Exploring the inner workings of the male mind."

Mike French said...

Okay Stella, Star Trek it is then!

Helen Ginger: Great - scary stuff the inner workings of the male mind!

Hello, I would first put a quote from the Dali Lama. If you can't help someone, at least don't hurt them! Then, I would do flowers, trees, etc.
Thanks,Cindi

This one always made me laugh : "Romanes eunt domus" or should that be, "Romani ite domum"?

(Anyone unfamiliar with Monty Python ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monty_Python's_Life_of_Brian )

Thanks Cindi.

From my experience sometimes when people "help" others they end up "hurting them" anyway by wading in with size 9 boots!

LOL love it.

Okay, you caught me:) I was going to go for "One step for man, one giant leap for Tem McCarthy", but I thought that was just as bad.
